Special Needs Planning

When raising a family member with special needs, you are likely to face unique financial challenges when planning your family's future.

The day-to-day needs of a loved one suffering from a medical condition or disability can be complex and demanding. As a growing number of families find themselves coping with birth defects, illness or age-related disabilities such as Alzheimer's or Multiple Sclerosis, it's normal to feel as though you need a guide. Complex situations require complex planning.

A plan for your family will be inherently different.  Your plan may need to account for guardianship, long-term care needs, a trustee, co-trustee or corporate trustee to assist with money management.  You family's plan should address the needs of your loved one and take into consideration a future caregiver.

If you're unsure of where to start, a conversation with us at Samra Wealth Management may provide some reassurance.
